AN-124 @ YVR Today

According to Flightaware, an An-124 (Antonov 124) is scheduled to arrive today (20 Jan 2013) at YVR, 1755hr, with slight delay till 1811hr.  Plane Spotters who are interested in this large Russian cargo jet, don't miss out!   Please also be careful and watch your steps as it'll get dark soon.

You probably won't see me by the fields today as I'm not too interested in Russian aircraft (more because of the safety side of it), but I have to say it does look pretty cool when this huge metal is on final approach!  

I ♥ Richmond

A surprisingly sunny day today!  Richmond seems like a far away place for some people.  You know, it's off on an isolated island, only accessible through the few bridges and the tunnel, and rumors about sinking if a Tsunami or Earthquake hits.  But guest what, your only major, and Canada's second largest and busiest airport, is in Richmond (British Columbia).  

Ever since I moved to Canada, I've been living in Richmond.  Despite the fact that it is easy accessible to Asian food and goods, I  also love Richmond because my airport is there!  I see planes everyday, I hear planes everyday, and almost anywhere in Richmond, I can easily spot a plane.  You know, anyplace, anywhere, anytime, in Richmond, 24/7.  Proud to live in Richmond!
